My name is Tucker, and this year I’m the Road Captain for the San Francisco Motorcycle Club. In addition to planning the ride calendar for the year, I’ll be leading most if not all of the rides. This is a place where I’ll be posting pictures, routes, and comments about rides we go on. I might also use it as a place to post ride ideas that are bouncing around.

I hope to do ride tracking using Instamapper and a Motorola i425. I was inspired by a friend of a friend who is tracking his cross-country trip.

I tried out Instamapper yesterday with a walk to lunch. Even using my non-gps iPhone, it works pretty well. You can see it cut the corners, and didn’t quite hit the mark, but those problems should go away when I’m using a proper GPS device.
